> Microsoft / Office 365 (Business or Business Premium licence)

Boot Camp (recommended)

Boot Camp comes with your Mac and lets you install Microsoft Windows. No need to download anything yourself — just open Boot Camp Assistant and it will guide you through the rest. Read more about Boot Camp on Apple’s Boot Camp Support.

To use Boot Camp, follow these instructions:

  1. Open Boot Camp from the Utilities folder in the Applications folder and follow the onscreen instructions to automatically re-partition your startup disk and download related software drivers for Windows.

  2. When you complete the assistant, your Mac restarts to the Windows installer . When you’re asked where you want to install Windows, select the BOOTCAMP partition, then click Format.

  3. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish your Windows installation.

  4. After Windows is installed, you can switch between MacOS and Windows . Use the Startup Disk preference pane in macOS, or the Boot Camp system tray item in Windows to select your startup disk, then restart your computer.

Parallels Desktop for Mac

Parallels allows you to run Windows applications on your Mac without rebooting. This popular virtualisation software can be purchased from Parallels.

To use Boot Camp, follow these instructions:

  1. Download and install the Parallels Desktop from their website then proceed to activate and register the software. You are allowed to try Parallels for free for 14 days.

  2. Install Windows by opening Parallels and choose File > New.

  3. Follow instructions on screen to load the Windows installation file. It is recommended to leave the Express Installation selected.

  4. After Windows is installed, you can use both Parallels (Windows) and Mac applications side-by-side without rebooting.

:information_source: Depending on how you intend to use Windows, we recommend the Boot Camp approach since Parallels may require more memory with the Mac OS. There is also a small financial pro with Boot Camp since this software is provided by Apple free of charge.
