Error message: You don't have permission to access this resource

Hi, i use data dear across 3 entities for an organisation. It’s working fine for 1 of the entities; but for the other 2; the following message appears…any ideas? I have recorded the problem, but have had no response.

"Oops … There has been an error returned from Xero when using [company name]. This can be a business or technical related error. If you’re unsure what this means and the problem persists, please click the Report Problem icon in the DataDear toolbar so we can investigate.

Error message: You don’t have permission to access this resource."

Welcome to the community!

I would suggest you try to reconnect the organisation which are giving that error as it may be possible that the handshake with Xero has corrupted and the systems are no longer connected.

Can you advise on the best way of doing this, without me losing all the data?

Reconnecting your Xero company to DataDear will not affect the data and can be done easily using the Add button the Excel add-in or directly from the Web Dashboard.
