2020 - What a ride!
As we are approaching year end, we start looking back at the highlights and lessons learned throughout the year. 2020 was a rollercoaster - an experience that surprised and shocked humanity. Yet, there were so many inspiring stories and determination from all over the world and this is what kept us going.
It’s definitely a year to remember as several habits have changed or evolved - with remote working and online meetings becoming the norm. Operating in the cloud is no longer a consideration but a must for most businesses.

Over the last year, there has been remarkable progress in many areas of DataDear including:
- new and enhanced group functionality
- addition of several Xero and QuickBooks post templates including edit capabilities
- improved templates library
- more data tables and reports
- improved security, support and community features
- connecting with Practice Manager (WorkflowMax) and Hubspot CRM
- Xero data copy service
- VAT reporting for Xero Global
DataDear’s strategy for next year is about strengthening the following pillars:
- bigger community of experts
- better add-in which is easy to install and update
- faster data access
- wider reach of connectors
