How do I start using the DataDear Excel add-in?

Learn how to get started with the DataDear Excel add-in.

To get started with DataDear you need:

  1. An account with one of the supported accounting software (such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, WorkFlowMax, HMRC)
  2. An account with DataDear

DataDear Free Account

You need a DataDear account to be able to install and use the DataDear Excel add-on. You can create a free 30-day trial account here. The trial account is fully functional and allows you to use DataDear to pull or push data to and from the accounting software.

Using DataDear

Once you activate your DataDear account, you should follow these instructions to get started.

  1. Download & Install DataDear - a new toolbar will be added to your Excel.
  2. Connect your company - such as Xero organisation or a QuickBooks Online company.
  3. You may add a user to share and collaborate.

You may now use the DataDear from within your Excel (using the DataDear toolbar). Start by downloading a data table or a report. Enjoy DataDearing!
