Unable to register or log in

I’d like to try the MTD service, but the registration screen does not have a registration option. I have tried using my Intuit login, which goes off to another screen, spinning some busy indication, before coming back to the same screen unchanged. Any help?

I’m attempting to use DataDear. The link DataDear Excel add-in for Xero and QuickBooks | Dashboard Login on the page https://www.datadear.com/hmrc-vat-return-making-tax-digital/ does not allow you to register, just login. So I created an Intuit account but did not get a confirmation email (even in Junk). When I try to login to DataDear using the Intuit account I get the error:

Uh oh, there’s a connection problem.

Sorry, but the app didn’t connect. Please try again later, or contact [customer support] for help.
When I go there I get the message that there is no account associated with my email address (the user name).
And when i try to post this message I get the message that new users cannot put more than 2 links in a post!
